Therefore Architecture is a New York-based architecture and design firm founded by Originally from Alabama, he studied Aerospace Engineering at Auburn University while working at NASA’s Marshall Spaceflight Center. After leaving Auburn, he received a Master’s of Architecture from the University of Virginia. After graduation, he received a post-graduate Thesis Fellowship to pursue his own research, as well as an Adjunct Faculty position to teach both an undergraduate studio and an elective about book design.
Austin was part of the award-winning team at Studio Gang Architects, where he learned under McArthur Genius Grant recipient Jeanne Gang. While there, he worked on community, education, and multifamily residential projects in North America and Europe. He then transitioned to working in the luxury residential and hospitality space with the AD Top 100 firm, Olson Kundig.
